Our Story
Hey y'all, I'm Symber, the proud owner of Root and Petal Co. Born and raised in the small town of Jonesborough, TN, I cherish the roots that keep me grounded. I’m dedicated to my full-time work in Occupational Therapy as a COTA/L and have worked 15+ years in the healthcare field. I also embrace the role of motherhood with all of my heart, and love that I am able to pass along recipes and canning skills. My soul finds true happiness in the simple pleasures of life: cherishing moments with friends and family, soaking in the beauty of the outdoors, tending to my garden and chickens, as well as expressing my creativity in the kitchen.
At Root and Petal Co, we believe that food is not just about sustenance, but also about bringing people together. That's why we started this small business, to create delicious meals, provide natural beauty products and forge unforgettable experiences for our customers. We pride ourselves on seeking out the most quality ingredients for every single product we provide. We're notorious for creating homemade nonsense and some of the best scratch made cheesecakes and homemade canned pickles around!
